The Impact of Acupoint Application Combined with Modified Shuxiong Yiqi Decoction on Patients with Stable Angina Pectoris
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of acupoint application combined with modified Shuxiong Yiqi Decoction in the treatment of patients with stable angina pectoris and its effects on exercise tolerance and oxidative stress. Methods A total of 74 patients with stable angina pectoris admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University from April 2021 to May 2023 were collected. All patients received basic Western medicine treatment as a common intervention measure and were randomly divided into a study group(acupoint application combined with modified Shuxiong Yiqi Decoction)and a reference group(acupoint application treatment),with 37 cases in each group. The TCM syndrome scores, exercise tolerance(exercise time,6-minute maximum walking distance),and oxidative stress indicators[superoxide dismutase(SOD),Malondialdehyde(MDA)]were observed and recorded before and after 3 months of treatment in both groups, and the clinical efficacy after treatment was analyzed. Results After 3 months of treatment, the TCM syndrome scores in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The exercise time and 6-minute maximum walking distance in the study group were higher than those in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The SOD level in the study group was higher than that in the reference group, and the MDA level was lower than that in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The effective treatment rate in the study group(97.30%)was higher than that in the reference group(78.38%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint application combined with modified Shuxiong Yiqi Decoction has good clinical efficacy in treating patients with stable angina pectoris, significantly improving their oxidative stress state and increasing exercise tolerance.
