Efficacy of Tibolone in the Treatment of Postmenopausal Syndrome
Objective To explore the efficacy of tibolone in the treatment of postmenopausal syndrome.Methods A total of 87 patients with postmenopausal syndrome treated at Puyang Oilfield General Hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 were randomly selected.All patients were divided into a control group(n=43,treated with Kuntai Capsules)and an observation group(n=44,treated with tibolone)based on the different treatment drugs.The treatment effects,hormone levels,immune function,quality of life,and incidence of adverse drug reactions were evaluated in both groups.Results The symptom scores of postmenopausal syndrome in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the estradiol levels increased,and the levels of luteinizing hormone and serum follicle-stimulating hormone decreased in both groups.The estradiol levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,while the levels of luteinizing hormone and serum follicle-stimulating hormone were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+indicators in both groups were higher those before treatment,and the CD8+indicators were lower than before treatment.The CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+indicators in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,while the CD8+indicators were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the quality of life scores in both groups improved,and the quality of life scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse drug reactions such as vaginal bleeding,breast tenderness,gastrointestinal discomfort,and dizziness in the observation group was 6.83%,compared to 11.83%in the control group.There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the observation group and the control group(P＞0.05).Conclusion Tibolone can effectively alleviate the discomfort symptoms caused by hormonal imbalance in patients with postmenopausal syndrome,help enhance immune function,and has relatively fewer adverse drug reactions.It helps patients resist diseases and enables them to better cope with daily life.
