Clinical Effect of Baoyuan Zhuyu Huxin Decoction and Thunder Fire Moxibustion Combined with Western Medicine in the Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease Heart Failure
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Baoyuan Zhuyu Huxin Decoction and Thunder Fire Moxibustion combined with Western medicine in the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease heart failure(HF).Methods From September 2021 to March 2024,120 patients with coronary heart disease HF were selected from Puyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.They were randomly divided into a study group(n=60)and a control group(n=60)using a random number table method.The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment,while the study group received Baoyuan Zhuyu Huxin Decoction and Thunder Fire Moxibustion combined with Western medicine treatment.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores,cardiac function indicators,N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),exercise tolerance,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The treatment efficacy in the study group(96.67%)was higher than that in the control group(81.67%),with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores in both groups decreased,and the scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)in both groups decreased,and the values in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the NT-proBNP levels in both groups decreased,and the levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the 6-minute walk test(6MWT)walking distance in both groups increased,and the distance in the study group was greater than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group(1.67%)was not significantly different from that in the control group(5.00%)(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Baoyuan Zhuyu Huxin Decoction,Thunder Fire Moxibustion,and Western medicine in the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease HF can improve clinical efficacy,reduce serum NT-proBNP levels,improve cardiac function,enhance exercise tolerance,and has a high safety profile.
