Application Study of Family-Participatory Children's Classroom Health Education Model in Children with Acute Leukemia
Objective To explore the application effect of the family-participatory children's classroom health education model in children with acute leukemia. Methods A total of 110 children with leukemia admitted to Henan Cancer Hospital from March 2022 to September 2022 were selected as research subjects. They were dynamically randomized into a family-participatory group and a routine education group using a random number table, with 55 cases in each group. The routine education group received children's classroom health education, while the family-participatory group received the same education with family members accompanying the children. The psychological resilience of the children was recorded before and after the intervention using the Adolescent Psychological Resilience Scale. The knowledge of leukemia was assessed using a self-made leukemia knowledge test. Results After education, the scores of the Adolescent Psychological Resilience Scale and the self-made leukemia knowledge test,as well as the complete awareness rate, were significantly higher in the family-participatory group than in the routine education group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the family-participatory children's classroom health education model in children with acute leukemia can significantly improve their psychological resilience and knowledge of the disease. It is recommended for clinical promotion based on the family situation of the patients.
