The Impact of High-Quality Nursing Combined with Perineal Wound Cosmetic Suturing on the Recovery of Postpartum Women
Objective To explore the impact of high-quality nursing combined with perineal wound cosmetic suturing on the recovery of postpartum women.Methods From January 2022 to December 2022,76 postpartum women who underwent perineal wound cosmetic suturing at the Department of Obstetrics,The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology,were selected as research subjects.They were divided into two groups based on the last digit of their hospital admission number:the control group(n=38,routine nursing)and the experimental group(n=38,high-quality nursing).The incision healing and hospital stay,quality of life before and after intervention,negative emotions,comfort level,and nursing satisfaction were evaluated and compared between the two groups.Results The incision healing time and hospital stay in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Before the intervention,there were no statistically significant differences in quality of life scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After the intervention,the quality of life scores(physical function,social function,psychological function,role function)in both groups improved,and the scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Before the intervention,there were no statistically significant differences in negative emotions and comfort level scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After the intervention,the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Fear Visual Analog Scale(FAVS)scores in both groups decreased,and the Kolcaba Simplified Comfort Scale scores increased.The HAMA and FAVS scores in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,and the Kolcaba scores were higher,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate in the experimental group(97.37%)was higher than that in the control group(84.21%),with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of high-quality nursing combined with perineal wound cosmetic suturing can promote faster recovery in postpartum women,improve their psychological state,comfort level,and quality of life,and further enhance satisfaction,making it worthy of clinical application.
