Study on the Impact of Family-Centered Nursing Model on Delivery Outcomes and Postpartum Recovery in Primiparas
Objective To analyze the impact of the family-centered nursing model on delivery outcomes and postpartum recovery in primiparas. Methods A total of 67 primiparas admitted to Jiaozuo Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected for the study. They were randomly divided into a reference group(n=33)receiving routine nursing intervention and a study group(n=34)receiving family-centered nursing. The delivery fear,self-efficacy,anxiety and depression status, postpartum recovery indicators, and delivery outcomes of the primiparas were compared between the two groups. Results Before the intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in delivery fear scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, the delivery fear scores in both groups decreased, and the scores in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, the SAS and SDS scores in both groups decreased, and the scores in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, the GSES scores in both groups increased, and the scores in the study group were higher than those in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The breastfeeding rate in the study group was higher than that in the reference group, and the cesarean section rate was lower than that in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the neonatal asphyxia rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The duration of lochia, time to lactation initiation, time for the uterus to enter the pelvic cavity, and hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the reference group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing a family-centered nursing model can alleviate anxiety, depression, and fear in primiparas, reduce cesarean section and asphyxia rates, improve delivery outcomes, and facilitate postpartum recovery.
