The Effect of Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy in the Treatment of Ovarian Cysts
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy(LOC)in the treatment of patients with ovarian cysts(OC).Methods Sixty patients with OC treated at Xinyang People's Hospital from May 2020 to April 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a control group(n=30)and a study group(n=30).The control group underwent traditional open surgery, while the study group underwent LOC.Perioperative indicators, ovarian reserve function[follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH),estradiol(E2)],ultrasound detection indicators[ovarian volume(OV),number of antral follicles(Fo)],levels of inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),white blood cell count(WBC)],and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The study group had shorter surgery time, postoperative ambulation time, and pain relief time, and less intraoperative blood loss compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Six months postoperatively, the levels of AMH,FSH,and E2 in both groups increased, with the study group showing higher levels than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in OV and Fo between the two groups before and six months after surgery(P>0.05).Twenty-four hours postoperatively, the levels of CRP and WBC in both groups increased, but the levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group(6.67%)was lower than that in the control group(30.00%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of LOC in the treatment of OC patients can improve perioperative indicators, enhance ovarian reserve function, have a smaller impact on inflammatory factors, and reduce the incidence of complications.
