Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Budesonide Combined with Porcine Lung Surfactant Injection in the Treatment of Severe Neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome
Objective To explore the value of adding budesonide to the treatment of severe neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS)with porcine lung surfactant injection. Methods A total of 72 NRDS patients admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Huaxian People's Hospital from May 2022 to December 2023 were selected.According to the differences in medication methods, they were divided into a study group(n=36,treated with budesonide+porcine lung surfactant injection)and a control group(n=36,treated with porcine lung surfactant injection). The efficacy, blood gas indicators[oxygen saturation(SpO2),oxygenation index(OI),arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)],inflammatory factors[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)],recovery indicators(hospital stay, mechanical ventilation time, total oxygen inhalation time),and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The effective treatment rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in SpO2,OI,PaO2,hs-CRP,and IL-6 between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of SpO2,OI,and PaO2 in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The hospital stay, mechanical ventilation time, and total oxygen inhalation time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of budesonide combined with porcine lung surfactant injection in severe NRDS patients can improve clinical efficacy, reduce inflammatory responses, and does not increase adverse reactions, making it highly safe and clinically significant.
