The Application Effect of Olanzapine Combined with Aripiprazole in Bipolar Disorder and Its Impact on Patients'Quality of Life
Objective To analyze the application effect of olanzapine combined with aripiprazole in bipolar disorder and its impact on patients'quality of life.Methods Sixty patients with bipolar disorder treated at Puyang Mental Health Center from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected.According to the random number table method,they were divided into a control group(30 cases)and a study group(30 cases).The control group was treated with aripiprazole,while the study group was treated with olanzapine combined with aripiprazole.The Bech-Rafaelsen Mania Scale(BRMS)scores,cognitive function[Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices(SPM)scores],quality of life[Activities of Daily Living(ADL)scale],adverse reactions,and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in BRMS scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the BRMS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in SPM scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the SPM scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in ADL scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the ADL scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).The effective rate of treatment in the study group(93.33%)was higher than that in the control group(70.00%),with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment of bipolar disorder with olanzapine combined with aripiprazole can effectively reduce the severity of mania,improve cognitive function and quality of life,reduce adverse reactions,enhance clinical efficacy,and has good safety,making it worthy of clinical application.
