The Application and Research of TEAS Therapy Combined with Five Tones in Anxiety and Tension of Perioperative Breast Tumor Patients
Objective To investigate the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)combined with five-tone therapy on perioperative anxiety in patients with benign breast tumors. Methods A total of 160 patients with benign breast tumors admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to July 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a study group(n=80,TEAS combined with five-tone therapy)and a control group(n=80,TEAS).The anxiety levels, postoperative recovery, pain levels, anesthetic drug usage, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results At 1 month postoperatively(T5),the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores of both groups decreased, with the study group scoring lower than the control group, showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).At 3 days postoperatively(T4),the Postoperative Quality Recovery Scale(PQRS)scores of both groups were lower than 30 minutes preoperatively(T1),showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The PQRS score of the study group at T5 was higher than at T1,showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The PQRS scores of the study group at T4 and T5 were higher than those of the control group, showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores of the study group at 6 hours postoperatively(T2),1 day postoperatively(T3),and T4 were lower than those of the control group, showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The usage of propofol and remifentanil in the study group was lower than that in the control group, showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group(6.25%)was lower than that in the control group(18.75%),showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of TEAS combined with five-tone therapy in the perioperative period of patients with benign breast tumors can reduce anxiety, promote postoperative recovery, alleviate postoperative pain, reduce intraoperative anesthetic drug usage, and decrease adverse reactions.
