Clinical Observation of Jieyu Decoction Combined with Acupuncture in the Treatment of Post-Stroke Dysphagia
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Jieyu Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke dysphagia.Methods A total of 82 patients with post-stroke dysphagia admitted to Xin'an County People's Hospital from June 2021 to December 2023 were selected and divided into two groups using a random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group received acupuncture treatment,while the study group received Jieyu Decoction combined with acupuncture treatment.The clinical treatment effects and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed.The Kubota Drinking Test and the Swallowing Quality of Life Questionnaire(SWAL-QOL)were used to compare the swallowing function and quality of life before and after treatment in the two groups.Results The effective treatment rate in the study group(97.56%)was higher than that in the control group(85.36%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the Kubota Drinking Test scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the Kubota Drinking Test scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group(2.44%)was lower than that in the control group(14.63%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the SWAL-QOL scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the SWAL-QOL scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of Jieyu Decoction and acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke dysphagia has significant clinical efficacy,fewer adverse reactions,can improve swallowing function,and enhance the quality of life.It is worthy of application.
