Diagnostic Value of Triple Testing in Pediatric Acute Myeloid Leukemia with Accompanying Infection
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of triple testing for interleukin-6(IL-6),procalcitonin(PCT),and C-reactive protein(CRP)in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia with accompanying infection. Methods From January 2023 to February 2024,70 children with leukemia and accompanying infection were selected as the infection group in the Third People's Hospital of Zhengzhou, while 70 leukemia children without infection were selected as the non-infection group.IL-6,PCT,and CRP joint detection was carried out in both groups to analyze the diagnostic effect of the triple testing in pediatric AML with accompanying infection. Results The levels of IL-6,PCT,and CRP in the infection group were all significantly higher than those in the non-infection group(P<0.05).The levels of IL-6,PCT,and CRP in children with severe infection were higher than those in children with mild infection(P<0.05).The accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of the triple testing in diagnosing pediatric AML with accompanying infection were 95.00%,97.14%,and 92.86%,respectively.Conclusion The triple testing for IL-6,PCT,and CRP has a definite diagnostic effect in pediatric AML with accompanying infection and can provide a basis for diagnosis.
