Application of Optimized Nursing Process Guided by PDA Mobile Information Technology in Emergency Ward Nursing Management
Objective To explore the application effect of the optimized nursing process guided by Personal Digital Assistant(PDA)mobile information technology in emergency ward nursing management. Methods A total of 98 patients treated in the emergency ward of our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 49 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received the optimized nursing process guided by PDA mobile information technology. The nursing efficiency, incidence of adverse events, and nursing satisfaction scores of the two groups were compared. Results The time for nursing information verification, nursing assessment, and vital sign data collection in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores for nursing process, nursing skills,nurse-patient communication, and behavior and appearance in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The optimized nursing process guided by PDA mobile information technology in emergency ward nursing management can improve nursing efficiency, reduce risk events, and enhance nursing satisfaction.
