Application of Specialized Gastrointestinal Nursing Combined with Pathway-Based Cooperative Nursing in Elderly Patients Undergoing Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
Objective To explore the application effect of specialized gastrointestinal nursing combined with pathway-based cooperative nursing in elderly patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy. Methods Ninety elderly patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy admitted to Anyang People's Hospital from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected and randomly divided into an intervention group(specialized gastrointestinal nursing combined with pathway-based cooperative nursing)and a control group(routine nursing),with 45 cases in each group. The blood circulation indicators, pain levels, examination time, negative emotions, and cooperation degree were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, heart rate(HR),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),and systolic blood pressure(SBP)increased in both groups, but the levels of HR,DBP,and SBP in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The visual analog scale(VAS)pain scores in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group, and the examination time was shorter, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After the intervention, the Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI)and Beck Depression Inventory-Ⅱ(BDI-Ⅱ)scores decreased in both groups, with the intervention group scoring lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The cooperation rate in the intervention group(93.33%)was higher than that in the control group(77.78%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of specialized gastrointestinal nursing combined with pathway-based cooperative nursing in elderly patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy can stabilize blood circulation indicators, reduce pain levels, shorten examination time, alleviate negative emotions, and improve cooperation.
