Observation on the Effect of Nutritional Support Continuation Nursing Combined with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Training on Nutritional Status and Psychological State of Postoperative Gastric Cancer Patients
Objective To analyze the impact of nutritional support continuation nursing combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction training on postoperative gastric cancer patients. Methods A total of 106 postoperative gastric cancer patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected as study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group(n=53)receiving nutritional support continuation nursing and a study group(n=53)receiving MBSR training in addition to nutritional support continuation nursing. The nutritional status[albumin(ALB),hemoglobin(Hb),prealbumin(PA)],psychological status[Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)],and quality of life(GQOLI-74)were compared between the two groups. Results There were no statistically significant differences in ALB,Hb,and PA levels between the two groups on the first day after surgery(P>0.05).However,at 1 month,3 months, and 6 months after surgery, the ALB,Hb,and PA levels in the study group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in HAMA and HAMD scores between the two groups on the first day after surgery(P>0.05).However,at 3 months and 6 months after surgery, the HAMA and HAMD scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in GQOLI-74 scores between the two groups on the first day after surgery(P>0.05).However,at 6 months after surgery, the GQOLI-74 scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined intervention of nutritional support continuation nursing and MBSR training can improve the nutritional status and quality of life of postoperative gastric cancer patients and help alleviate anxiety and depression.
