Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Bupian Yufeng Decoction in Treating Acute Cerebral Infarction with Qi and Blood Deficiency Type
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of Bupian Yufeng Decoction in treating acute cerebral infarction with Qi and blood deficiency Type. Methods A total of 72 patients diagnosed with acute cerebral infarction of Qi and blood deficiency Type who were admitted to Puyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected for the study.Patients were randomly assigned to two groups using odd-even number drawing:the control group(36 cases)received conventional treatment, while the study group(36 cases)received Bupian Yufeng Decoction in addition to conventional treatment. The treatment efficacy, changes in the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores before and after treatment,Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromic scores, modified Rankin Scale(mRS)scores before and after treatment, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment efficacy rate of the study group(94.44%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(75.00%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in NIHSS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, both groups had lower NIHSS scores compared to before treatment, with the study group exhibiting lower NIHSS scores than the control group the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromic scores for hemiplegia, limb flaccidity, tongue deviation, tinnitus, and dizziness before treatment between the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment, both groups had lower syndromic scores compared to before treatment, and the scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in mRS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);after treatment, both groups had lower mRS scores than before, with the study group demonstrating lower mRS scores compared to the control group the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Bupian Yufeng Decoction demonstrates ideal clinical efficacy in treating acute cerebral infarction with Qi and blood deficiency type, with a guarantee of medication safety, making it a valuable treatment option.
