Analysis of Serological Test Results and Clinical Value in Patients with Hyperthyroid-related Liver Disease
Objective To analyze the clinical value of serological indicators in patients with hyperthyroid-related liver disease. Methods A total of 82 patients with hyperthyroid-related liver disease treated at the Second People's Hospital of Nanyang from May 2022 to December 2023 were selected as group A.Group B consisted of 82 hyperthyroid patients with normal liver function, and group C included 82 healthy individuals from hospital health examinations.Serum liver function indicators[alanine aminotransferase(ALT),direct bilirubin(DBIL),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),total bile acids(TBA),gamma-glutamyl transferase(GGT)]and thyroid function indicators[free triiodothyronine(FT3),serum thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH),free thyroxine(FT4),triiodothyronine(T3),thyroxine(T4)]were measured and compared among the groups. Results There were statistically significant differences in liver function and thyroid function indicators among the three groups(P<0.05).Specifically,the levels of GGT,ALT,ALP,TBA,DBIL,total T3(TT3),FT3,FT4,total T4(TT4),and TSH in group A were higher than those in groups B and C.Additionally, the levels of GGT,ALT,ALP,TBA,DBIL,TT3,FT3,FT4,TT4,and TSH in group B were higher than those in group C,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum levels of liver function and thyroid function indicators can effectively aid in the diagnosis of hyperthyroid-related liver disease and facilitate timely, targeted treatment for patients.
