The Application Value of Humanistic Care in the Nursing of Patients with Depression
Objective To explore the effects of applying humanistic care in the nursing of patients with depression.Methods A total of 90 depression patients admitted to Shangqiu Second People's Hospital from August 2023 to May 2024 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups,with 45 patients in each group.The control group received conventional nursing methods,while the experimental group received humanistic care.The two groups were compared on social functioning,satisfaction with nursing care,and quality of life scores after nursing intervention.Results After the nursing intervention,the Social Disability Screening Scale(SDSS)scores in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Additionally,the nursing satisfaction and quality of life in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,showing significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Providing humanistic care to patients with depression can improve their social functioning while enhancing their recognition of nursing care and overall quality of life.
