摘要

中华小熊猫(Ailurus styani),国家Ⅱ级重点保护野生动物,濒危(EN)物种,为食性高度特化的植食性食肉目动物(竹叶是其食谱的主要组成部分),主要在2 000-3 800 m海拔活动.2022年10月31日15时29分,在四川省甘孜藏族自治州康定市贡嘎山镇贡嘎寺附近(101°46'53"E,29°35'58"N,海拔4 939 m),红外相机拍摄到一只中华小熊猫.此次拍摄发现刷新了中华小熊猫海拔分布的上限,为其就地保护补充了关键数据.(图1参20)

Abstract

The Chinese red panda(Ailurus styani)is an endangered,nationally protected carnivore that mainly inhabits the Hengduan Mountains.Its unique ecological niche is attributed to its highly specialized diet(mainly composed of bamboo).Prior studies have indicated that its altitude range is primarily between 2 000 and 3 800 m.On October 31,2022,at 15:29,an infrared camera captured three images and one video of a red panda(101°46'53"E,29°35'58"N,4 939 m above sea level)near the Gongga Temple in Gongga Mountains,Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan Province.This discovery extended the upper elevational limit of the Chinese red panda and provided crucial data for its in-situ conservation.
