关于"了不起"中"了"的意义辨析

摘要
文章通过运用同义成分替换法,对"了不起"的理据做了探析,认为其中心语素"了"为"胜任,能应付"之义.而与其结构和语义高度类似的"了不得"词义演变路径应为"不能承受/胜任→情势严重→程度深→不平凡,非常突出".基于"V不起"与"V不得"结构的相似性,"了不起"乃是受到"了不得"的影响而类推产生出"不平凡,突出"义.
Abstract
By using the method of synonymous component replacement,this paper analyzes the motivation of liao buqi 了不起,and believes that its central morpheme liao 了 means'capable of undertaking'.The evolution path of the meaning of liao bude 了不得,which is highly similar to its structural seman-tics,should be:unable to bear/competent → serious situation → deep degree→ extraordinary or very prominent.Based on the similarity of the structures of V+buqi and V+bude,the meaning of extraordinary and outstanding of liao buqi is derived by analogy and the influence of liao bude了不得.
