Analysis and Test of Output Characteristics of Constant Flow Radial Piston Pump
In the context of the constant flow demand for the steering system of special equipment vehicles,with the aim of optimizing the output dynamic characteristics of a certain type of constant flow radial piston pump,the constant flow mechanism analysis and flow pulsation optimization were carried out.A mathematical and simulation model was established for the flow output characteristics,and the simulation and experimental results were compared to verify the effectiveness of the principle and model.Then the flow pulsation rate was optimized and analyzed under the constraints of constant flow rate and critical speed.The results indicate that:The constant flow function can be achieved through this structure;After the input speed is greater than critical speed,the average flow rate will tend to stabilize as the speed increases,while the flow pulsation will increase;Flow pulsation can be effectively reduced by more than 5%,with optimizing piston diameter,eccentricity,and inlet orifice opening.
