Measurement Error Analysis of a Marine Indirect Valve Position Indicator with Large Torque
In order to realize the accurate measurement of the valve opening in the valve remote control system, the oil compressibility that affects the error of the marine indirect valve position indicator is studied, and a method is proposed to study the effective volumetric elastic modulus of hydraulic oil under different working conditions by using the combination strategy of AMESim simulation and compressibility change characteristic equation, and then obtaines the variation rule of the measurement error of the indirect valve position indicator, and reveales the influence of the different installation positions of the valve position indicator in the oil circuit on the measurement error. The results show that the measurement error of the indirect valve position indicator is sensitive to the oil compression. When the oil gas content increases from 0.05%to 1%,the oil compression increases and the measurement error becomes larger, the same gas content will increase the measurement error under low pressure and high temperature conditions. The research results provide a model basis for a new type of marine indirect valve position indicator compensation module.
