Pneumatic Cavity Pressure Control Using Mode Switching Combined with Fuzzy PWM
The pressure of the capacitive chamber is the main control object of the piping system, and replacing the commonly used proportional valve with a high-speed switching valve for pressure regulation can significantly reduce the system cost.A pneumatic capacitor cavity pressure control method with mode switching combined with fuzzy PWM is proposed for a single-cavity,two-valve pressure tracking system. The purpose of this method is to reduce overshoot, decrease regulation time and improve pressure tracking performance.Firstly, the fuzzy controller gives the duty cycle command according to the deviation, and then converts the switching quantity to continuous quantity regulation by introducing PWM,and then realizes the fine regulation of pressure in the capacitor cavity by quickly switching the operating mode of the switching valve. The simulation results show that the overshoot of the step response is less than 0.6%,the peak time is 0.15 s,and the regulation time is 0.16 s.Meanwhile, the harmonic signal at 0.5 Hz is well tracked, and the overshoot and regulation time are significantly reduced compared with the current control strategy.
