Performance Analysis of Pressure Compensator of Hydraulic System of 20 m Subsea Drilling Rig
Pressure compensator is an important part of deepwater hydraulic system, for deep-sea equipment drived by hydraulic pressure, the pressure compensator can eliminate the influence of seawater pressure on the hydraulic system. When the deep-sea equipment uses asymmetric hydraulic cylinder as the actuator, the flow difference between the two oil chambers of the asymmetric hydraulic cylinder will cause the fluctuation of the compensation pressure of the pressure compensator, excessive fluctuation amplitude may cause damage to the compensator.Take the rolling diaphragm pressure compensator of 20m subsea drill hydraulic system as the object of study, introduces the composition and principle of rolling diaphragm type pressure compensator, presents a method to calculate the maximum compensation flow of the hydraulic system for 20 m subsea drill, analyzes the fluctuation law of compensation pressure by AMESim.At last, the static compensation characteristics of the pressure compensator to the closed chamber under the change of external pressure are simulated through the high-pressure sealed chamber. The results show that the performance of the pressure compensator meets the requirements of the 20 m subsea drill hydraulic system.
