In order to reduce the tooth wear of cycloidal rotor pump during operation and make it suitable for more severe working conditions,a new design scheme of composite cycloidal rotor pump was proposed. The top tooth profile and side tooth profile of the inner rotor of the new rotor pump are composed of two arcs, and the top tooth profile and side tooth profile of the outer rotor are composed of two cycloids. The profile on the side of the tooth plays a driving role, while the profile on the top of the tooth only plays a sealing role.By comparing the tooth surface sliding ratio and pressure angle of the new composite cycloidal rotor pump and the ordinary cycloidal rotor pump,it is found that the tooth surface sliding ratio of the new composite cycloidal rotor pump changes more smoothly, the absolute value of tooth surface sliding ratio is smaller, and the range of pressure angle is more reasonable, which can effectively reduce the tooth surface wear. The tooth profile modification of the new composite cycloidal rotor pump can further reduce the tooth surface wear and movement resistance.
