Influence of Forming Fabric on the Performance Stability of Hydraulic Filter Media
The beta ratio of hydraulic filter media decreases significantly in the filtration process, which leads to the shortening of the service life of filter media.Geodict software was used to simulate the effect of uneven pore size distribution on the filtration process. The results showed that under close mean pore size, the larger the maximum pore size of the filter, the worse the filtration stability of the filter. Then experiments were conducted to explore the effect of the mesh number on the pore size distribution of the filter media and their liquid filtration performance. The results showed that when the mesh number was greater than or equal to 400 mesh, the loss rate and pore size distribution of different diameters and different quantities of filter media gradually tend to be stable in the forming process. When the physical parameters and beta ratio of the filter media were close, the stability of filtration performance of the filter media on the 500 mesh forming fabric was higher than that of media prepared on the 80 mesh.
