Energy Consumption Characteristics of Hydraulic-electro Series Drive Excavator Rotary System
A control method based on motor speed control mode and torque control mode is proposed to address the issue of efficient recovery and utilization of braking energy in the hydraulic electric hybrid drive rotary device.Firstly, conduct theoretical and theoretical analysis on the hydraulic electric hybrid drive rotary system.Afterwards, the system was simulated and analyzed in AMESim,providing reference for subsequent experiments. Finally, the differences between torque mode and speed mode were compared and analyzed through experiments. The experimental results show that the torque mode operates more smoothly compared to the speed mode, with no power fluctuations. The speed mode is more effective in utilizing the energy of the accumulator, saving 48.4%compared to traditional excavators and 42%more than the torque mode. The overshoot of torque mode is 8%greater than that of speed mode.Overall, the speed mode is superior to the torque mode.
