Mechanism and Experiment Research on High-pressure Water Jet Cleaning of Strip Steel Surface
High-pressure water jet technology is an effective means for cleaning the surface of cold-rolled strip steel.To investigate the working mechanism of high-pressure water jet cleaning for removing surface dirt from strip steel,a model for the impact force of high-pressure water jet based on computational fluid dynamics theory is established.The model analyzed the relationship between impact force,nozzle pressure,and flow rate.Through orthogonal theory,experiments are conducted to validate the cleaning effectiveness of strips steel under different operating conditions,and the surface morphology after cleaning is analyzed.The results indicate that the working pressure has the most significant impact on improving the surface quality of strip steel after cleaning.Additionally,appropriately increasing the cleaning angle and jet distance also contributes to enhancing the surface quality of strip steel after cleaning.These findings not only reveal the influence of cleaning parameters on the surface quality of strip steel but also provide essential reference for optimizing the cleaning process.
