Influence of Aluminum Covered Sleeve Type Air Spring Parameters on Its Vertical Performance
The aluminum cover and cord are both important structures of sleeve type air springs with aluminum covers. To improve the vertical performance of the air spring, the finite element method is used to explore the influence of aluminum cover and cord parameters on the vertical performance of the air spring.A finite element model of the air spring is established by ABAQUS.A vertical stiffness test of the air spring is conducted, and the results are compared with the finite element analysis results. The small error proves the effectiveness of the finite element model.Focusing on the vertical stiffness and vertical force of the air spring, finite element analysis is conducted on the air spring. The results showed that the initial air pressure is positively correlated with the vertical stiffness.Aluminum cover can significantly reduce vertical force and vertical stiffness. The inner diameter of the aluminum cover is positively correlated with vertical force, while the length of the aluminum cover is negatively correlated with vertical force and positively correlated with vertical stiffness. The cord angle is negatively correlated with vertical force, and the cord spacing is negatively correlated with vertical stiffness. The analyzed impact pattern provides reference for the design of air springs.
