Study on Discharge Flow Field and Aerodynamic Noise of High-pressure Hydrogen Storage Safety Valve
The issue of aerodynamic noise from safety valves is addressed through the integration of the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings Equation and dynamic mesh techniques, focusing on the acoustic characteristics of the flow field during the dynamic opening process of high-pressure hydrogen storage safety valves.A aerodynamic noise testing platform for safety valves is established, and the impact of different valve disk angles on the aerodynamic noise characteristics is analyzed. Results indicate that the distribution of sound sources from the safety valve is primarily concentrated in the lower side of the valve disk, the left and right chambers, and the outlet section. An appropriate valve disk angle can reduce pressure fluctuations and improve pressure stagnation phenomena. The conclusion can provide valuable insights for the domestic production of specialized valves.
