Abstract
In the dialect of Yueyang County,Hunan Province,the usage of"Da"includes dynamic auxiliary,range adverb,modal adverb and other special usages.The relevant special expressions include"A Da A","V Da N","A D Da","Jia Da N","V Ba Da","Qu Da","Xiang Da",etc.This paper describes the general usage of"Da"in detail,makes a brief comparison between the dynamic auxiliary words:"Da"and"Dao",and holds that the etymology of the two may be"Zhuo",and further discusses the special usage and form of"Da".
