Advances in Research on Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome
Pick porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS)is a highly contagious disease caused by porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV).It mainly causes reproductive disorders in breeding sows and respiratory symptoms in piglets.Many researchers at home and abroad have carried out relevant research on PRRSV.This paper reviews the etiology characteristics,genome structure and function,vaccine creation and epidemic prevention and control of PRRSV.The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for the further study of PRRSV and the development of corresponding prevention and control strategies.
