Hog farming plays an integral role in the livestock industry.This study employs a case study approach,focusing on ten listed enterprises engaged in hog farming.The relevant data for the year 2023 were collected and analyzed using the gray correlation analysis method(GRA).This was followed by an evaluation of the performance of the listed enterprises of hog farming,which was conducted on the basis of a combination of the Data Envelop-ment Approach(DEA)and GRA.The findings of the study indicate that the mean values of comprehensive effi-ciency and scale efficiency for the 10 enterprises are 66%and 67%,respectively.Four enterprises achieve DEA effectiveness,suggesting that the comprehensive efficiency and scale efficiency of listed enterprises in hog farming require enhancement.Consequently,recommendations are proposed to optimize resource allocation,reinforce technological innovation,and pursue a reasonable expansion of scale,taking into account the specific circum-stances of the industry.
