Local chronicles are the regional records of people,entity and events.With their rich content and temporal coherence,they can play an important role in the construction of the Grand Canal National Cultural Park.The coupling relationship between the two can be analyzed from the means and methods,the main functions,the objectives and the implementation focus of the construction of the Grand Canal National Cultural Park.In terms of the tangible cultural heritage,the chronicles can play an important role in the excavation of cultural resources such as ancient canal towns,water conservancy projects,buildings,and inscriptions.In terms of the in-tangible cultural heritage,they can play an important role in the excavation of cultural resources such as poems,geographic names,"Eight Landscapes Culture",and traditional skills.
