The Communist Party of China(CPC)represented by Mao Zedong has conducted early exploration and practice of Chinese path to modernization,which combined the basic principles of Marxism with China's reality and creatively solved a series of fundamental issues in the moderni-zation of China after the victory of the new-democratic revolution,determining the direction and road of China's modernization.After the peaceful liberation of Xinjiang,the CPC laid a founda-tion for the construction of socialist modernization in Xinjiang by establishing the Party organiza-tions and people's government at all levels,implementing regional ethnic autonomy,establishing new socialist ethnic relations,forming production and construction corps,and blazed a trail to modernization in multi-ethnic areas with Chinese characteristics,promoting the smooth develop-ment of socialist modernization in Xinjiang.
