High-spin states in 205Po have been investigated by using in-beam γ ray spectroscopy with the 196Pt(13C,4n)205Po reaction at a beam energy of 72 MeV.The previously known level scheme has been extended,and 3 new decay sequence have been established by adding nineteen new γ rays.The yrast level structures in 203,205.207Po are compared with large-scale shell model calculations performed in a configuration space with the same proton and neutron orbits,which are 0h9/2,1f5/2,2p3/2,2p1/2,1g9/2.The calculated results are in reasonable agreement with experimental data.
