In this paper,a case of co-infection of swine fever virus and ciliates colon was diagnosed by combining pathogen attributes,epidemiology,clinical symptoms of the infected pig,pathological changes seen in anatomy,microscopic observation and modern molecular biological methods(PCR).On the basis of the confirmed pathogen and the actual situation of the affected pig farm,the first choice of healthy pig groups for emergency vaccination of swine fever vaccine,monitoring of antibody levels,and the use of two drugs such as metronidazole+diazine for the treatment of sick pigs.After 1 week,the disease was basically under control in the pig farm,and good prevention and control effect was achieved.In this paper,the diagnosis and treatment of the disease were described,in order to provide useful information and technical reference for the diagnosis and control of the combined infection of swine fever and porcine balacolithiasis.
