Surveillance and Analysis of Foot-and-mouth Disease Immune Antibody of Sheep in Shuicheng District,Guizhou from 2019 to 2021
In order to understand the level of immune protection against foot-and-mouth disease in Shuicheng District,In this paper,a total of 953 samples of foot-and-mouth disease, were tested for immune antibodies to foot-and-mouth disease in 2019-2021 for samples from large-scale sheep farms and free-range farmers in Shuicheng District, and the immune antibody levels were compared in different years, different farming methods and different regions. The results showed that the overall passing rate of FMD immunization antibody for sheep in Shuicheng District, remained above 70%from 2019-2021,and the antibody level of sheep in free-range households was generally lower than that in large-scale sheep farms. The results indicate that local FMD vaccine immunization has been effective in recent years, but there are still individual farms or free-range households with antibody pass rates that do not meet the standard, and FMD immunization and monitoring should be continuously strengthened to ensure that sheep in all areas are at a high level of immune protection.
