The Effect of Trace Element Nutrient Licking Bricks on the Trace Element Content and Antioxidant Capacity of Sheep in the Tarim Region
In order to study the effect of trace element nutrient licking bricks on biochemical indicators of sheep and improve breeding efficiency. This experiment conducted feeding experiments on sheep by producing trace element nutrient licking bricks.Ten healthy sheep were selected and their blood samples were collected before and after feeding to measure serum antioxidant indicators and changes in serum trace element content. The experimental results show that prefabricated trace element nutrient licking bricks have good supplementation effects on the four trace elements of Fe,Cu,Mn,and Zn,but have poor supplementation effects on Se.The activity of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),superoxide dismutase(SOD),and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)in sheep serum were significantly increased, while the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)was reduced.
