Muscle mitochondrial creatine kinase 2(CKMT2)belongs to one of the four subunits of creatine kinase,which is involved in the regulation of fat production.It is one of the important regulatory enzymes related to energy metabolism in animals and plays an important role in regulating animal growth and development.At the same time,studies at home and abroad show that the occurrence and development of diseases such as CKMT2 gene tumor are also closely related.At present,the research on CKMT2 gene at home and abroad mainly focuses on the growth and development of the body,fat deposition,hypoxia adaptability and the research on malignant tumors.The study on the molecular regulation mechanism of CKMT2 gene is helpful for breeding excellent animal varieties and providing a new breakthrough point for some malignant tumor research.In this paper,the structure,function and research status of CKMT2 gene were described,in order to provide direction for the follow-up study of CKMT2 gene function and provide reference for livestock and poultry breeding.
