Research Progress on Infection Mechanism and Pathogenesis of Pseudorabies
Pseudorabies(PR),also known as Oryezky's disease or crazy itch,is an acute infectious disease caused by pseudorabies virus(PRV)in humans or animals.Currently, the virus can infect a variety of mammals, including people and pigs, including sheep, dogs, rabbits, rodents, cattle and cats,of which pigs are the only natural host.It mainly causes reproductive failure of pregnant sows, nerve disorders of newborn piglets and breathing difficulties of growing pigs, etc.,which causes serious economic losses to the pig industry all over the world. This article mainly describes the infection mechanism of pseudorabies virus(PRV)and the newly discovered pathogenesis,in order to provide important technical reference and product technology development inspiration for the prevention and control of PRV.
