Bioinformatics Analysis of gJ Protein of Duck Plague Virus
Duck plague virus can cause acute, febrile, and septic infectious diseases in ducks. The gJ protein is a type of envelope protein of duck plague virus. This article analyzed the gJ protein using bioinformatics methods. The results showed that the protein is composed of 539 amino acids with a good stability. There are one α-transmembrane helical region and one signal peptide site. The secondary structure of gJ protein was predicted. The protein contains 52 phosphorylation sites,7 glycosylation sites,18 B cell antigen epitopes, and 14 strong T cell antigen epitopesin. This study provides a theoretical basis for further studying the structural characteristics and immune function of gJ protein.
