Treatment of Phenyllactic Acid in a Model of Salmonella Infection in Chicks
In order to verify the inhibition ability of PLA on Salmonella induced white dysentery, first of all, activated Salmonella was used to gavage chicks until typical infection symptoms such as white dysentery, appeared in chicks, and the model of Salmonella infection was successfully constructed as a standard, and then treated, and it was found that after PLA intervention, the symptoms of Salmonella infection in the experimental group were significantly improved, compared with half of the death in the negative control group,15%of the death rate of the positive control group, and only 5%of the death rate in the experimental group. Therefore,PLA can replace traditional antibiotics such as neomycin sulfate and other sensitive antibiotics for Salmonella in chickens to treat diseases caused by Salmonella avian infection.
