In March 2022,Shenzhen established the country's first centralized care center for pets affected by COVID-19,taking on the task of keeping pets in close contact with quarantine personnel.This article introduces and summarizes the animal disease prevention and control technology used in centralized care places for pets,and the whole process measures such as regional classification management,regional transfer,sampling,disinfection,harmless disposal,and personnel management.To explore the experience of this approach and the possibility of applying this model in the outbreak of major public health events such as the prevention and treatment of major infectious diseases,or to provide reference in the response to similar major public health emergencies that may occur in the future.
