Study on Timed Artificial Insemination in Simmental Cattle
In order to explore the effects of different timed insemination plans, different body condition scores, different insemination doses, and whether or not to undergo labor on the effect of timed artificial insemination of Simmental cows in large-scale breeding farms, this experiment selected 103 cows and randomly divided them into two experimental groups based on body condition scores and whether or not to undergo labor. After different timed insemination plans and insemination doses, the relevant reproductive performance was statistically analyzed. The results showed that the Presynch Ovsynch regimen treatment group had a higher synchronous estrus rate and single estrus conception rate than the Ovsynch regimen treatment group, with no significant difference(P>0.05);The BCS score of 6~7 points showed a higher single estrus conception rate compared to the 4~5 points, reaching over 64.29%.The synchronous estrus rate of cows with a score of 6 points was significantly higher than that of the 4 points(P<0.05);The synchronous estrus rate and single estrus conception rate of primiparous cows are higher than those of multiparous cows, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05);The single estrus return rate of high-dose insemination cows was lower than that of the low-dose group, and the single estrus conception rate was higher than that of the low-dose group, with significant differences(P<0.05).
