Investigation on the Infection of Canine Babesiosis in Some Areas of Nanchong and the Treatment,Prevention and Control Measures
This study aims to better prevent and treat canine babesiosis and understand the characteristics and regularity of canine babesiosis in some areas of Nanchong.The medical records of Northern Sichuan Animal Hospital from 2020 to 2021 were statistically analyzed.The results showed that the infection rate of canine babesiosis was 1.72%from 2020-2021,and significant differences were found in the infection rate of canine babesiosis in different seasons(P=0.000**).The infection rate in spring was higher than that in summer,autumn and winter.There were significant differences in the infection rate of canine babesiosis in different genders in Nanchong area(P=0.046*).The infection rate of male was much higher than that of female.There were no significant differences in whether desinsectization,immunization and sterilization nor not.At the same time,a typical case of tracking treatment program and clinical symptoms of the diseased dog was recorded,the treatment principle was mainly relied on the drug for insecticide,and the emergence of complications were treatment with right medicine.Finally,the corresponding recommendations were put forward according to the laws and characteristics of babesiosis infection,and aimed to achieve the purpose of timely prevention and treatment.
