Isolation,Identification and Biological Characteristics of a Strain 5 of Glaesserella parasuis
Glaesserella parasuis is an important pathogen in pigs, posing a significant threat to the global swine industry and causing substantial economic losses.Conducting isolation, identification, and characteristic analysis of GPS can help provide a basis for clinical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. In this experiment, the bacteria were isolated, cultured and identified from clinical piglet disease feed, and the isolated strains were identified and analyzed by Gram staining, biochemical identification,PCR amplification and sequencing comparison, genetic evolution analysis, genotyping, and drug susceptibility test and pathogenicity study were carried out.The results showed that Glaesserella parasuis was isolated and its homology was 92.3%~95.6%by genetic evolution analysis. The genotype of the isolates was serotype 5.The isolates were sensitive to doxycycline, amoxicillin.Resistant to neomycin, tylosin, cotrimoxazole, cefalothiophene. The pathogenicity test in mice showed that it was pathogenic. The relevant results of this experiment provide theoretical basis for clinical prevention and treatment of Glaesserella parasuis.
