In order to understand the effect of different mixing ratios of alfalfa and forage oats on silage quality, the experiment was conducted by mixing alfalfa and forage oats in a fresh grass mass ratio of 1∶0(M1),0∶1(M2),1∶2(M3),2∶1(M4).After 60 days of ensiling, analyzed the fermentation quality and nutritional value. The results showed that the pH值 of M2 was the lowest(3.84),and the highest was M1.The highest content of lactic acid is M3,the lowest is M1.The dry matter content of M2 and M3 is higher than or about 30.0%.The crude protein content of M1 was the highest, and the crude protein content of mixed silage gradually decreased with the decrease of alfalfa mixing ratio. The starch content of M2 was the highest, and the starch content of mixed silage gradually decreased with the decrease of oat mixing ratio. In conclusion, the quality of forage oat silage at the early stage of pasting is excellent, but its nutritional value is lower than that of mixed silage with alfalfa.Considering the fermentation quality and nutritional value of silage, the silage quality was better when the mixing ratio of alfalfa and feed oats was 1∶2.
