Study on the Effect of Estrus Monitoring Technology on the Erotic Exposure Rate,Fertility Rate and Delivery Rate of Breeding Cows
To explore and analyze the effects of estrus monitoring technology on the estrus exposure rate, conception rate, and delivery rate of breeding cows.300 cows from a large breeding farm in Pingliang City,Gansu Province were selected as the research subjects. The physiological data of the herd was monitored by wearing a collar to determine the estrus situation. The effects of the collar estrus monitoring technology and manual direct observation method on the estrus exposure rate, conception rate, and delivery rate of breeding cows were compared and analyzed, and the differences were significant. The results showed that the estrus exposure rate, conception rate, and delivery rate of estrus producing and breeding cows identified by the collar detection method were significantly higher than those identified by the manual direct observation method(P>0.05).Compared with the manual direct observation method, the cow collar monitoring method can significantly improve the estrus exposure rate, conception rate, and delivery rate of breeding cows. This lays the foundation for optimizing and improving the breeding and management conditions of farms and improving the production performance of cattle in the future, and also provides reference value for promoting the development of China's breeding economy and rural revitalization.
