Diagnosis and Treatment of Encephalitozoon Cuniculi Infection in a Rabbit
One year old female Angora rabbit was treated in April 2021.Before the treatment,the rabbit had a loss of appetite and a crooked head and neck.Diagnosis is made through clinical examination,hematology examination,imaging examination,and urine examination,and treatment is carried out according to the diagnosis results.The results showed that according to the examination results,the rabbit showed obvious neurological symptoms,the opacity of the left bleb increased,and there was systemic inflammation.Further urine was collected and sent to the pathology laboratory for examination,and the rabbit was confirmed to be infected by encephalitozoon cuniculi.Through symptomatic and causative treatment,good therapeutic effects are achieved.
